The super-villain and drug trafficker, the Garbage Man, is angry that Trash allowed a crack house to be destroyed (issue #31). He tasks Trash with finding Power Pack and destroying them. Trash succeeds in disabling all four members of the Pack and rendering them unconscious. However, when the Garbage Man goads them to kill the Pack, they balk, realizing that they're children. They wake Power Pack, and team up with them to defeat the Garbage Man.

Afterward, the Pack implore Trash not to be villains anymore. Trash retorts that the Power children - who are affluent and well cared-for - simply do not understand what they need to do to survive.
